Yantra--A Glimpse of the Future or ERP All Over Again?

Having recently published a report on the Distributed Order Management (DOM) market, I was asked to participate in a panel at Yantra’s annual event. The biggest question the audience was struggling with was the relationship between DOM and the significant investments already made in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). The bottom line is that companies want to know why DOM will deliver when ERP largely failed to unify the process.
