BLACK MAGIC MONEY

Breaking the spell of black magic
The fear of black magic has cast its spell and held several people in its grip. Hounding people out of their homes and villages for practising black magic or beating someone to exorcise the spirit that is believed to have possessed him is common in several parts of India.

But Maharashtra is set to exorcise its ghosts through a proposed law, which makes it punishable to practise, promote or propagate black magic and other such acts of superstition. It seeks to bring under its ambit "sinister practices" done with the intention of exploiting people or harming them physically, mentally or financially.

It is a practice in rural Maharashtra to make a mentally-challenged child a `baba' and claim that the child has supernatural powers. Soon, people believe this and make contributions in cash and kind, says Shyam Manav of Andha Shradda Samiti, a pan-India organisation that opposes blind faith and superstitions. "Over the last several years of working on such issues, we have exposed about 200 such babas," he claims.

The Maharashtra Eradication of Black Magic and Evil and Aghori Practices Bill, 2005, introduced in the State Assembly late last year, sought to nip such practices. But its sweeping implications, brought with it much opposition. The draft bill was subsequently watered down and specific instances were identified that would trigger the proposed law.

Concerns and issues
Despite reducing the scope of the bill, the proposed anti-superstition legislation still raises several concerns, with citizens stressing the need to tread cautiously on what could become a minefield of sorts. Questions are being raised on how the proposed law would deal with spiritual saints and self-proclaimed godmen and women. What happens to faith healings, pranic healing, reiki etc?

When there is the Indian Penal Code and the Drugs and Magic Remedies (Objectionable Advertisements) Act, 1954, operational in the country, is another law really required, asks Ramesh Shinde of the Hindu Janjagruti Samiti. "Through the Right to Information Act we found that the police are adequately equipped to deal with such issues using the existing laws. How will the proposed law deal with, say, astrology? It should not cram religious freedom and there is scope for misuse," he says, adding that there is no need for one more law to deal with such practices.

Theologian Josantony Joseph agrees that there are instances where people are taken advantage of, but says one needs to be careful about the sweep of the proposed law. The law, if indeed required, should be "minimalistic" and well defined to avoid misuse, he says.
Defining magic and miracle
How would one define magic? Can anything that is not explained by science be termed magic? There are several things, like ESP (extra-sensory perception), that are not scientifically explained; so is ESP magic, he asks. "One should not jump on to it with a mentality that supports only what is substantiated by science," he says.

In cases of faith healing, is it faith in the divinity that heals? Or does faith trigger the release of some chemicals in the brain that eventually helps healing, he asks, outlining the tricky ground that Maharashtra has ventured on to with this proposed law.

But Manav points out that the scope of the proposed law is narrow and restricted to specific instances to minimise abuse or misuse. While the so-called acts of miracle would not be punishable, making it a money-spinner would invoke the law. Miracles, he says, are acts that are not defined by science.

Existing laws do not punish the identified practices, he says. The proposed law makes the listed offences cognisable and non-bailable. And a person convicted of an offence under the proposed law can be imprisoned for about six months to seven years, besides being fined upwards of Rs 5,000. Further, he says that only a high-level police official, specified as the vigilance officer, would be equipped to follow through with specific cases.

Anand Grover with the Lawyers Collective feels that the proposed legislation deals with only a fraction of the quackery that exists. The legislation needs to be holistic in its scope and should be brought at a national level, he says, cautioning that any vagueness will result in it being misused.
What the proposed law prohibits
Assaulting a person under the pretext of expelling a ghost, and forcing him/her to commit acts like drinking shoe-soaked water
Displaying the so-called miracles to deceive, defraud or terrorise people into giving money
Provoking people to follow evil and `aghori' (or cannibalistic) practices to be blessed by supernatural powers
Doing "inhuman" acts to search for precious things Creating an impression of being possessed by divine spirits and using it to create fear in the minds of others
Propagating tales that someone practises black magic etc and is responsible for death and disease etc
Branding someone as a person practising witch-craft and parading the person naked or putting curbs on the person's daily activities
Scaring people by claiming to invoke ghosts or mantras to heal or cause harm
Prohibiting a person from taking treatment for a dog or snake bite and instead treating the person through mantras
Claiming to change the sex of the foetus, through a demonstration of surgical acts by the finger
Making past-life connections and forcing people to indulge in sexual activity
Creating an impression that a mentally-challenged person has super-natural powers and utilising the same for business.

OM YANTRA (Om Namoh Shivai )

Om is a visual and aural symbol, that creates an alchemy of sound and
vision that takes us away from ordinary waking reality to an enlightened
state.

Visually, Om is represented by a stylized pictograph.

Aurally it is the sound of Om.

Taste, touch and smell, it is the Chocolate Om.

According to Indian spiritual sciences, God first created sound. From these
sound frequencies came the entire universe. Our existence, indeed the entire
universe, is made from these primal sounds. OM is said to be the most sacred
of all sounds. It is the syllable which preceded the universe and from which
the gods were created--the cosmic vibration that holds together the atoms of
the universe. The Upanishads say that AUM is God in the form of sound.

Visually, the Om symbol consists of three curves, one semicircle and a dot.
The large lower curve symbolizes the waking state which is turned outwards
through the gates of the senses. Its larger size indicates that this is the
most common state of the human consciousness. The upper curve denotes the
state of deep sleep or the unconscious state. in which the sleeper desires
nothing nor sees any dream. The middle curve (which lies between deep sleep
and the waking state) signifies the dream state. In this state the
consciousness of the individual is turned inwards, and the dreaming self
beholds an enthralling view of the world behind the eyelids.

These are the three states of an individual's consciousness, and since
Indian mystic thought believes the entire manifested reality springs from
this consciousness, these three curves represent the entire physical world.
The dot signifies the fourth state of consciousness–the state of
consciousness which looks neither outwards nor inwards, nor the two
together. It signifies the coming to rest of all differentiated, relative
existence. This utterly quiet, peaceful and blissful state is the ultimate
aim of all spiritual activity. Finally, the semi circle symbolizes Maya and
separates the dot from the other three curves. It is the illusion of Maya
that prevents us from the realization of the highest state of bliss. The
semi-circle is open at the top, and does not touch the dot, indicating that
the highest state is not affected by Maya. Maya only affects the ordinary
states of consciousness which prevent the seeker from reaching his ultimate
goal, the realization of the One.

Aurally, as a sacred sound the pronunciation of the three-syllabled AUM is
correspondingly rich. The A is the primal sound, produced at the back of the
open mouth, and is said to include, and to be included in, every other sound
produced by the human vocal organs. The open mouth of A moves toward the
closure of M. Between is U, formed of the openness of A but shaped by the
closing lips. This corresponds to the visual symbol in that the dream state
(U) lies between the waking state (A) and the state of deep sleep (M). The
last part of the sound M when pronounced makes the lips close. This is like
locking the door to the outside world reaching deep inside our own selves,
in search for the Ultimate truth. But over and above the threefold nature of
OM is an invisible fourth dimension which is the unutterable, soundless
silence that follows the uttering of OM–a peaceful, blissful and non-dual
state–the state symbolized by the dot in the visual symbol of Om.

This deeper insight into this mystic symbol reveals that it is composed of
three syllables and threee strokes combined into one--not like a physical
mixture but more like a chemical combination. The chemistry of Chocolate is
not unlike that of the Om symbol.Weaving together MAO inhibitors, PEA (the
chemical released when we are in love) and Anandamide, the so-called Bliss
Chemical, the Chocolate OM completes the engagement of the 5 senses and
readies one for a perfect meditation--and the deepening of the 6th
sense--the spiritual.

Yantra Inside To The Black Magic

This Yantra contains a symbolic representation of the goddess Mahakali, the oldest form of the Mother Goddess known to India. It is embossed with an open lotus inside which are three inverted triangles and a six-pointed star. Inscribed around the lotus This Yantra contains a symbolic representation of the goddess Mahakali, the oldest form of the Mother Goddess known to India. It is embossed with an open lotus inside which are three inverted triangles and a six-pointed star. Inscribed around the lotus is the 'beej' or 'seed' mantra of this Yantra.Worship of this Yantra protects the devotee against the evil eye, magic spells and misfortune. It can also fulfill your desire for love, wealth and happiness.A unique and powerful Yantra. This Yantra is embossed on a square plate of pure copper and has been specially energised to radiate its beneficial powers. It can be placed in your temple at home, on your worktable, in your cash box or, if you like, even in your wallet or purse. It is easy to clean and can be polished by any metal polishing powder or solution.
What is a Yantra?
Literally "Loom" or later, meaning "Instrument" or even "Machine"
.In actual practice a Yantra is a symbolic representation of aspects of divinity, usually the Mother Goddess. It is an interlocking matrix of geometric figures, typically circles, triangles and floral patterns that form fractal patterns of great elegance and beauty. Though drawn in two dimensions, a Yantra is supposed to represent a three dimensional object. Three-dimensional Yantras are now becoming increasingly common. The Yantra is primarily a meditation tool both for serious spiritual seekers as well as sculptors in the classical tradition. Before creating their artifact in wood, stone or metal, they draw up a Yantra that represents the attributes of the god they wish to sculpt. Intense meditation upon it causes the fully formed image to leap into the mind's eye with an intensity that is remarkable for its imprinting ability, for then they do not need to use a sketch till the completion of the image. Yantras are also used for more mundane purposes, to enhance the quality of life, to attract prosperity and abundance, even love, to heal and relieve health problems, to protect oneself from negative forces and so on. The Yantra is mistakenly thought to be a symbol purely of the manifold aspects of the Mother Goddess. This is an understandable error as most Yantras are indeed connected to the Goddess the most famous one being the Shri Yantra, an abstract representation of the Mother (and Father too!) as Cosmos. This Shri Yantra is commonly misunderstood to represent Laxmi, goddess of fortune, but it is more true to say it includes and transcends every notion of divinity ever conceived by the Indian spiritual imagination. However there are Yantras for Ganesha and Kubera too, male deities, though they share a common Yaksha origin with Laxmi. The Yaksha were the original chthonic deities of India and the Yantra system seems to have been incorporated into the Vedic worldview at a later stage.Within the body of the more complex Yantras are inscribed the monosyllabic mantras, the bija or seed mantras, that are supposed to constitute the spiritual body of the goddess or god. The design always focuses the attention onto the center of the Yantra, usually a dot or bindu, which is the Locus Mundi, the center of all things and represents the Unmanifested Potential of all creation. The other figures usually symbolize the various stages within the unfolding of creation. Thus, every Yantra is a symbolic representation of both the deity as well as the universe, as the mother goddess not only permeates the substance of the universe, she is, literally, the Universe itself. Abstract geometric representations of the universe, which do not represent a diety, are called mandalas, however. Thus every Yantra is a mandala, though not all mandalas are Yantras. In ancient texts, Lord Shiva is supposed to have explained the mystical meaning of the Yantra to his consort, the Goddess Parvati thus, "The Yantra is as essential to a god as oil is to the oil lamp or as a body is to a living human being". Yantras are constructed on the immutable laws of sacred geometry, being symbolic representations of the energy patterns of a deity and are the most powerful 'centering' devices for harnessing the divine energies. The Yantra is actually more powerful than an image of god which, to be energized, needs a Yantra to be affixed at its base or back anyway! A Yantra always has a mantra associated with it. Just as the mind is a part of yet different from the body, so is the mantra from the Yantra. The mantra is the mind consciousness while the Yantra is the form of the deity. What are the types of yantras? There are four basic types of Yantras:Yantras of deities, of which the most prominent are the Shakta Yantras (these are usually forms of the Great Mother or the Mahavidyas- 'Sources of supreme knowledge');Astrological Yantras (used to harness the energies of the nine major planets);Architectural Yantras (used for the ground plans of temples); and, the Numerical Yantras (comprising select combinations of numbers which serve as talismans).Yantras, besides fulfilling their basic purpose, can help you prosper in your business or career and also help bestow good health, wealth, happiness and success upon you. These Yantras, be it copper/panch-dhatu/crystal, can be placed in your temple, put above a door or kept at your work place where, if worshipped with sincere devotion, they will bring their own rewards. What are the benefits of possessing a Yantra or Yantras? The primary or most important benefit of a Yantra is for spiritual purposes. Purely spiritual Yantras are handed out by gurus to the disciples they believe are at a level of awakened spirituality to deal with the power encased in a Yantra. Such Yantras can only be given by a guru even when they may look similar to an ordinary Yantra. However, Yantras have very great benefits for those who have not yet renounced the world too.Yantras absorb, like spiritual psychic sponges, negative or oppositional energies in the room or house they are placed in. This allows the energies of positive effort to bear fruit.Yantras focus the desires and aspirations and begin transforming the patterns of mind into habits of thought that will bring about the desired results. Since negative and evil desires can never be accomplished by using Yantras, the mental transformations a Yantra initiates always has a spiritual benefit.A Yantra is a colossal focusing mechanism, especially for healing energies rather like crystals, and is thus regularly used to bring about healing and maintaining a state of health and abundance. Health is very often a reflection of the state of your personal relationships and Yantras have a very positive impact on them.Yantras attract prosperity, abundance and most of all good luck. The all-important 'breaks' are more liable to come your way if you have the appropriate Yantras radiating their beneficent energies into your home, than just hoping for the best. Since the easiest understood manifestation of abundance is money, Yantras do indeed help in increasing the inflow of money, but that is only one aspect of abundance. Yantras, because they are active energy systems, are very powerful in deflecting negative energies directed towards you whether they are spells of malice, psychic attacks, or simple jealousy.Yantras help in maintaining an internal harmony, hence one of their unusual uses, the prevention of accidents and thefts. It is a psychological truism that such disasters always happen when one is in a disturbed and unaware state. Some Yantras have been known to subtly alter the energies around you by preventing the further entry of negative energy people into your life. It requires a high level of awareness to see this happening, however. Can a Yantra force a 'desirable' event or occurrence to take place? No. A Yantra is above all a spiritual system of energy and it cannot be either subverted for selfish ends that is not in harmony with the larger universe or tricked into conferring underserved benefits. All Yantras are to be understood as enhancing potential that exists. They cannot force something to happen that is against natural karma. Yantras aid and assist in bringing about a desirable outcome, but they cannot force something to take place. You cannot force somebody to love you, you cannot force good luck and prosperity, but Yantras will speed up the process if it exists as a potential, they help in reducing the time before something good manifests, they help in removing obstacles that may exist. Yantras cannot force something to happen because it is desired; they enable it to be manifest if it is karmically deserved. Yantras must always be handled with the utmost respect and consideration as careless and cavalier treatment will quickly reduce their power. How soon can one expect to feel the benefits of wearing or installing the Yantras? One can expect benefits of Yantras after 45 days. This is a conservative estimate. Some Yantras begin to give results immediately if the karmic potential is ripe. Some Yantras work better over the long term, steadily increasing the levels of abundance they confer. Yantras for prosperity usually fall into this category so some patience is required. The Kuber Yantra, for instance, gives immediate results but its greatest bounties come after three years in many cases.Yantras for health and preventing accidents and mishaps and the like are known to be working if nothing is going wrong! However, despite one's best intentions, the desired results may not always be achieved. This is usually for reasons of karma that have to be worked out and experienced before the organism can achieve its desire. Is it necessary to be a Hindu or believe in Hindu deities for Yantras to work? Not at all. Yantras are symbolic manifestations of universal and divine energy systems, which India happened to be the first to discover and, perhaps inevitably, interpreted through the prism of local cultural sensibilities. The Lines of Force that constitute the body of the Yantra are universal in their power, relevance and application. The healing energy may be called Hermes or Dhanwantari or Reiki but it is the same energy all over the world. The pure and protective feminine power may be called Athena or Durga or the Kwan Kin, but it is again the same power. The Yantra works as a synergistic and transcendental system; the Hindu nomenclature that is used to describe its parts is incidental. Why do the energized Yantras from indiayogi sometimes appear 'smudged'? The Yantras may have what appear to be 'smears' or 'smudges' on them. These are deliberately placed on the appropriate spot as part of the Yantra energizing ritual. They usually consist of vermillion or sandalwood paste and are applied by the priest as the culmination of the energizing process. Washing them off or wiping them away is thus not beneficial. Are any rituals/procedures necessary prior to worshipping Yantras? Yes, usually there are fairly elaborate rituals/procedures to be performed before worshipping these Yantras. However, Yantras obtained from indiayogi are energized in an elaborate ceremony (the details of which are provided) and do not require any preparation to begin worship or manifest their abundance in your home. What is the life span of these Yantras? These Yantras last a lifetime. There is no time limit. However if a Yantra was obtained for a specific accomplishment and has served its purpose, then it may withdraw its energy. Is it necessary to possess and chant the mantra associated with each Yantra? A: Not at all, though we have received many requests from purchasers of Yantras for the mantras that go along with each Yantra. We do not, as a general policy, give out these mantras for three reasons. The first reason is that mantras work only when pronounced absolutely correctly with no margin for error. Also, the mantras chanted over Yantras are not always the mantras that we should chant for our personal growth and prosperity - which is our second reason. Mantras for personal transformation are dealt with superbly in our Mantras for Healing and Prosperity section. The last reason is that each Yantra we sell has already been correctly energized by the chanting of the appropriate mantra for it a full total of 108 times, accompanied by an offering into the sacred yagna fire for each one of those 108 repetitions. This is done by a priest who is an expert in Yantra worship. We have put up pictures of this puja procedure that we perform at regular intervals. Any further chanting of mantras over the Yantra is at best superfluous. The best way to keep your purchased Yantra's energy at peak level is not to chant the Yantra's mantra but your personal spiritual mantra. That is how these things work. Are there any prohibitions when wearing the Yantra Pendants - say when socialising/having sexual relationship or visiting a place of death, must they be taken off and re-worn after a bath etc? We do not suggest strict prohibitions when wearing Yantras Pendants but leave it to the comfort levels of the wearer as the literature on the subject is not authoritative and indeed sometimes seems mutually contradictory. What is of utmost significance is the intention, faith and devotion of the wearer. In general, however, it is always better to remove all sacred objects when having sex. The psychic energies generated during the act frequently interfere with the spiritual energies of the Yantra. It is also a good idea, though not mandatory, to remove them in places of death as there are intense negative and sorrow energies accumulated there. These tend to 'stick' to the Yantra and darken or dull the energies. Normal social interaction does not need Yantras to be taken off.It is preferable to avoid getting the Pendants wet, as this will help increase the life of the plating. How does one use the Yantras as talismans? Yantras for use as talismans are made of thin silver or copper sheet, which can be rolled or folded and placed in a small square or cylindrical container called a 'Taveez'. A thread/chain can be put around this 'Taveez' and can be worn by an individual around the neck, waist, or on the arm. Where in a room should one place the Yantra? The Yantra has to be placed in the North/North-west direction in a room. Except for the Vaastu Yantra, which is supposed to be placed in the South-west corner of the house.

Sacred Geometry: YANTRAS

Sacred Geometry: YANTRAS - What is a Yantra?
All ancient cultures had sacred geometric designs representative of their Gods, which had a mantra (or sacred sound vibration) that corresponded to it. The Indians, Egyptians, Jews, Chinese, and Mayans all had systems of "planetary yantras" used to combat malefic influences. Yantra is the ultimate "symbology". In the Vedic culture we find much power and energy said to be held within sacred geometric symbols. They are to be found throughout sacred scriptures, carved in stone, hidden within paintings and in temples.

Sacred Geometry: YANTRAS - What is a Yantra?
Often when I bring up the subject of "yantra" in the west, I Get blank stares of incomprehension. If I then say "sacred geometry" some will understand, as this is what the modem scholars of ancient Egypt refer to their ancient system of yantra as. Many will also understand if I mention "mandala" as the Tibetan forms of mandala are more well known in the west The particular shapes and figures have often been picked up and used commercially as poster prints which people place on their walls for decoration, not having the slightest idea of the intent of such a diagram Many ancient Vedic yantras, which are the oldest known, such as the concentric expanding diagram of "Sri Yantra" are mistakenly referred to as "mandalas" by the so-called "new-age" community.
One example of how a western "madman" tried to use these powers for personal gain (of an evil disposition) is the case of Adolph Hitler. The swastika is actually an ancient, holy symbol found in temples all over the east. It is especially seen in paintings and carved into the temples and thrones for deities of Lord Ganesh (the elephant-headed god of prosperity said to remove impediments and obstacles from the path of human endeavour) . Hitler actually drew the symbol improperly and, although it looks like the original to the untrained eye at a glance, it is wrong and had no potency. Furthermore there is much more to yielding the power behind yantra than simply having the diagram. As I've tried to show in the previous parts of this book, there is the dedication and effort required to yield the beneficial effects of chanting mantras, especially if they are for some material purpose. Yantras are not "lucky charms" to be worn or displayed as icons of power in and of themselves. Much specific knowledge and ability must go into their preparation and much dedication and worship is required to achieve the desired effects.
Yantra means a Mystical diagram", "talisman", or "instrument" which, if prepared and created by a qualified "Tantric" (one qualified in the knowledge and practice of Tantra) as well as utilised under their specific instructions for fruitful results, will help to gain the objector objects of desire or ambition. Yantras are used in worship (puja) and can also be an effective instrument used towards the aim of self-realisation. The Vedic scriptures speak of them as worshipable and they were used by the ancient saints, seers, and rishis.
Yantras and mantras are connected together as for each yantra (diagram) there is a corresponding mantra that must be used with it they are representative of different deities from different demigods all the way up to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Lord Krishna, or Lord Vishnu. There is also a definite relationship between them and the material elements of earth, water, fire, air and ether. By proper prayers, worship, and perfect recitation of specific mantras the material elements, or material nature, may be induced to move in a way the practitioner desires. This is not magic, nor trickery, but a highly evolved and developed science for exercising some control in this regard.
The different planets in our solar system have different effects on our daily lives here on earth and there are yantras for each planet which, when properly installed and worshipped, allow the aspirant to ward off certain malefic effects. This is the reason why a qualified vedic astrologer recommends mantras, yantras, or gemstones as a remedial measure to their clients. Properly utilised they are capable of making an inauspicious planetary influence less troublesome or to negate the effect altogether. Besides countering negative effects we also desire to increase the planets' beneficial aspects in our lives by the use of these ancient tools.
A zero ("nought" to the British or 'bindu" in Sanskrit) is the basis of the geometry through which the triangle is developed. It is said to represent the different desires within the heart, the ways of fulfilling them and the acquisition of knowledge.
This "bindu" is the central point By concentrating on the bindu the ability to concentrate and build up a powerful mental or psychic force field is increased. It is broadened and, in it's expansion, many other kinds of shapes are formed. These figures or geometric shapes are what are termed the "yantra" .
Although it would not be a difficult task for most of us to copy the form of a yantra, it would not have the desired effect. Furthermore to be perfectly honest, it would be all but useless if not created by a qualified person ('Tantric") and then "infused" with the specific energy via the medium of mantra. Otherwise it becomes just an interesting form or picture to look at, but has no real effect on time or circumstances within life.
The physical manifestation of the yantra itself is generally drawn or etched into metal, be it gold, silver, bronze, copper, lead, or stainless steel, although paper is sometimes used for their inscription. Such materials are long lasting with the idea that when the worship, or puja, is performed, the person the yantra is meant for will have protection from evil and undesirable forces of nature. To constantly increase its effectiveness the user must perform certain worship and regularly chant the prescribed mantras. As explained in the section on mantras, sincerity of heart i s a basic principle necessary for the results to be realised.
As a vedic astrologer I regularly recommend the use of remedial measures, although I have found that for most westerners the path of mantra and yantra is much more difficult to realise beneficial results through (materially speaking) than is the science of gemstone therapy. By obtaining a proper natural gemstone correctly set and installed with specific mantras, it will on its own act to ward off malefic (negative) planetary influences and attract benefic (positive) ones. Although always helpful, it is not necessary to continually perform worship of the gem (except initially) or chant the mantras after the initial installation, yet it will still have a constant protective influence. Mantras and yantras must be used with the utmost care, dedication and spiritual energy through regular puja and chanting to be effective.
Due to the highly advanced and evolved souls necessary to create dedicate, install and worship the yantra initially, they may seem to be ineffective in this day and age. However, it's not due to any defects within the revealed knowledge and science of yantra, but to the lack of dedication and ability of most to achieve the results. These sacred diagrams of "yantra are representative of time and space and can most especially be seen within the most sacred and powerful yantra, the "Sri Yantra" . There are 90 many very exacting levels to be gone through in their preparation and specific rituals that absolutely must be performed perfectly during this step-by-step procedure, that their creation is extremely difficult and specialised.
There is an irrevocable connection between the yogic and tantric (which contains the science of yantra) paths and between the process of worship and attainment Initially, in a tantric's practice, specific ceremony is effected absolutely linked to the astronomical and astrological sciences. Therefore, charts (horoscopic) are analysed as to most opportune and auspicious times to begin a process. The tantric then creates a visualisation of being "central" or located in the inner middle of the spinal column, the centre of which is called "Meru". This is also called the "sushumna", through which the "kundalini" (coiled up energy or "shakti" within the chakra at the base of the spine) passes . This is the whole aim or ambition of the tantric, that his "kundalim" will ascend the "sushumna" and remain concentrated in the chakra between the eyebrows until the correct auspicious moment. At this time, success may be achieved by raising the kundalini to the crown chakra and ultimately brought forth to a destination beyond this world, leaving the material body in the flames of yogic fire.

YANTRA EFFECT ON YOUR MIND.

The effect of the Yantra :
Vedic astrology is not simply a device that predicts the future and gives a positive or negative. The predictive element is a process that ultimately leads to the goal. As souls, every human has the same potential to begin with. Then the scale changes as per individual karma and the balance remains in the hands of the particular person.
Emotions come into play and people become lost in their own ego and their wish for identity in the external world. In these endeavors the mind becomes a tool that the nodes play with and illusions become reality. Rahu and Ketu are not planets yet they get a major hold on the destiny of the person. From illusions come haziness and the person moves more and more away from the luminaries.
The ancient sages who put forth the doctrines of Jyotish were not believers of emotions. They were Rishis who considered emotions like intellectual thought, as a reaction of the outer mind. It is the process that stills the outer mind that they sought while they practiced Dhyana, meditation or Yoga. According to them the outer mind must be stilled in order to have inner calm. The outer mind is stilled primarily by the feeling of oneness with the super power of light and not just our emotional needs and compulsions.
Success, and fulfillment of material desire is also a very important factor that finally makes the filtration process easier. When the mind is not encaged in darkness, success of all endeavors become possible.
This Yantra helps to filter the impurities of the mind and clear our inner power to awaken and connect to the cosmic power. The numeric pattern connects to the number 5, the number that signifies Leo or Sun and all other planets get nourishment and automatically empowers themselves for maximum effect. All planets in a horoscope must enjoy a minimum strength and be in an unaffiliated status in order that the nature is successful in life. Sun is a very important planet for all irrespective of what Ascendant you belong to. The Yantra primarily empowers the Sun.

JEFFERIES BROADVIEW ADVISES YANTRA CORPORATION

Sterling Commerce to acquire Yantra CorporationSupply chain fulfillment suite extends execution, visibility and control to a multi-enterprise environment
December 20, 2004 -- Sterling Commerce, a multi-enterprise collaboration company and wholly owned subsidiary of SBC Communications Inc. (NYSE:SBC - News), has agreed to purchase Yantra Corporation, the leading provider of distributed order management and supply chain fulfillment solutions, for approximately $170 million in cash. The transaction, expected to be complete by early first quarter 2005, is subject to regulatory review.
Sterling Commerce expects to retain all Yantra employees and operate the company as a new business division, headed by Devdutt Yellurkar, Yantra CEO. Yantra's application suite will be incorporated into Sterling Commerce's recently announced Multi-Enterprise Services Architecture (MESA). Both MESA and Yantra are built on standards-based technology platforms that extend the value of service-oriented architectures outside the enterprise with unparalleled security, scalability and performance. Sterling Commerce plans to offer the integrated set of composite applications both as a software solution and hosted service.
"With this acquisition, we expect to deliver our first suite of composite applications to support our multi-enterprise collaboration strategy," said Sam Starr, president and CEO, Sterling Commerce. "The new product suite will help customers manage the end-to-end flow of orders, inventory, shipments and funds both inside and outside the organization, with real-time visibility into business processes and events. And, the combination of our capabilities will create new composite applications."
"Enterprises are demanding a way to remove the integration, collaboration and visibility barriers associated with multiple channels, multiple divisions and multi-tiered supply chains," said Starr. "The combination of Sterling Commerce and Yantra's market-leading solutions will remove those barriers, offer better control of distributed supply chain processes across complex environments and allow companies to increase revenue and operate more efficiently."
Yantra was founded in 1995 as a privately owned spin-off of Infosys Technologies Ltd. (Nasdaq: INFY - News), which provides consulting and IT services to clients worldwide. Yantra is headquartered in Tewksbury, Mass., a suburb of Boston, with offices in Duluth, Ga.; Redwood City, Calif.; Naperville, Ill.; Berkshire, U.K.; and Bangalore, India. The company employs more than 250 people.
"The Yantra applications were purpose-built to pull together the dynamic and complex processes associated with warehousing, distributed order management, supply chain visibility and product information management," said Yellurkar. "When coupled with Sterling Commerce's services-oriented architecture that was built for data synchronization and collaboration outside the firewall, the new combined supply chain solutions will offer users the best fulfillment and event management functionality in the industry."
SBC Chairman and CEO Edward E. Whitacre Jr. said that the pending acquisition was another positive step forward in the company's growth strategy, which includes mergers and acquisitions and organic growth.
"Through transactions such as Cingular Wireless' acquisition of AT&T Wireless, our joint purchase with BellSouth of YellowPages.com, our continued collaborations with Yahoo! and Echostar and now Sterling Commerce's acquisition of Yantra, we continue to build the resources, specialized capabilities and scale we need to serve our customers and create value for shareholders. We will continue to develop our business both organically through investment and through acquisitions like those we have made this year and in the past. We'll look for opportunities that make strategic and financial sense for our company and our shareholders - and help us better serve our customers and differentiate us from competitors," said Whitacre.
