YANTRA POWER INFORMATION

Sacred Geometries In Action

Yantras are a form of Sacred Geometries ... that have an inherent power to engage Energy Into Motion. Wherever they are placed they bring forth their corresponding energy ... whether one is conscious of this fact or not. They are not to be confused with a mandalla ... the power of which is limited to one of centering of the consciousness.

Yantras are basically energy grids originating from the 8th Dimension or Higher. A Yantra exists for every person, place, form or idea. They are a pure expression of an original intent in its Spiritual Form. When a Yantra is brought into manifestation on the physical plane ... it brings forth its Power of Creation into matter and facilitates the manifestation of the purity of the original form. Many of the crop circles we are witnessing these days are forms of Yantras which are engaging the Spiritual Energy of the Higher Dimensional Frequencies into motion on the earth plane ... facilitating the Transmutational Process.

We began receiving and making Yantras in 1992 with the first series being called "Yantra-Pi" . The Yantra-Pi Series was received by the male embodiment of Excelex from the "Liquid Golden Light" as a Gift of Holy Spirit to humanity ... and acts as the foundation for much of our work. Since that time we have received several other series of Yantras as well as many individual pieces. We have also made hundreds of Personalized Yantras for individuals, companies and projects.

What we are presenting through this page are the Yantras that facilitate the Divine Encodings of the Higher Dimensional Frequencies of the Living Light. Many of these Yantras have never been viewed outside of our home ... and this is their first presentation into a public forum. Each Series of Yantras are notably very different in design ... some are presented in full color and others appear only with the Lines of Force of their Energy Grids. With the many Personalized and Individual Pieces that we have done ... we have come to recognize that every one is very, very different and we are often surprised by the end result. Some of these Series of Yantras are presented with a corresponding verse ... which also triggers specific Energy Into Motion when read from the Sacred Heart.

We caution you to proceed with Wisdom when viewing these Yantras ... for their Inherent Power is to Engage Energy Into Motion. All you need to do is pull up the drawing and look at it with the "Eyes of Your Heart" ... and as you observe it your consciousness will begin to shift and different forms will become predominant within the Yantra. You may feel a spinning sensation, heat, cold, pressure around the body, etc ... each person lives the experience differently so there is no need to compare.

You are in control of this process ... no one else. It is only through your Divine Presence that these Higher Dimensional Frequencies can be accessed ... and your Divine Presence will activate the Energy Into Motion in accordance with your evolution. You may wish to state aloud when viewing each individual Yantra ... "Father/Mother God, Holy Spirit ... engage the energy of this Yantra into motion within I ... maximum benefit for my evolution". Then simply observe the Yantra and wait until you feel intuitively that it is complete.

We suggest that you proceed slowly when working with a Series of Yantras ... and do not try to ingest too much at once. Work with one or two of the Yantras at a time and allow the integration process. You may need a day or a week to ingest the energy before proceeding to another Yantra ... follow your Inner Guidance .

The Inner Yantra Power of Mantras

The Inner
Power of
Mantras

with Corrine
Champigny

by Julia Griffin
Julia: Can you begin by telling about your work with mantras and where it has taken you in your life?

Corrine: I've always loved music, and I started singing professionally at seventeen. I went to Nashville because I wanted to be a star. I started meditating because I had a really bad stomach ulcer. Very soon after that, the ulcer went completely away. I was so impressed that I took yoga classes to study mantras.

Meditation with mantras caused me to focus on my inner life as opposed to my outer life. I realized it was only my ego that wanted to be a star. What I really wanted was to use my voice to heal and help others. I stopped singing completely for several years, to keep my ego in check. I started using my voice as a tool to serve God.

I took a meditation class with Depak Chopra, and he found out that I could sing (I tried to hide it, but he found out). He asked me to sing for him, and I've worked for the past five years teaching yoga and mantras and singing at seminars at his institute in San Diego. I also write chants now, and even if I just sing a pop song, the spirituality is still there. My intent is to serve.

Julia: What is a mantra?

Corrine: Mantra is a Sanskrit word. The mantras come from the Vedas and were written 5,000 years ago. The Vedas are thought to be much older, having been given to us 25,000 years ago. It is believed that Enlightened Beings wrote the Vedas, and these are the source of mantras.

"Man" means mind and "tra" means instrument or tool, so "mantra" literally means instrument of the mind. Mantra Yoga means "union by voice or sound," and refers to the rhythmic repetition of mantras. Mantras are tools for focusing — a taxicab to take you where you want to go. When the mind is focused on a mantra, it becomes quiet, and this takes us to the soul. Eventually, the sound merges with God, and only the meditation or fixation of the mind remains. This is the way in which the mantra is used as an instrument of the mind.

Julia: Do other religions have mantras?

Corrine: Every religion has songs or chants. While they may not have the vibratory quality of the Vedic mantras, they are mantras nonetheless. The name and object are inseparable, so when you think of the name of Christ or Krishna, the image comes to mind with the sound. There are mantras for Tibetans, Buddhists, Hindus, and Christians.

Julia: Can you tell me more about the vibratory rates of mantras?

Corrine: Sanskrit is a vibration language. This means that contained in any Sanskrit sound is the potential to manifest into form. The vibratory patterns that are created by chanting mantras alter the physicality of our world. These vibratory patterns are called "Sakti."

If a group of people begins to meditate and chant OM, and there is a dish of sugar or salt, then the salt or sugar will take on the shape of that sound — not the symbol of OM, which looks like a three (3), and not the letters, but the symbolic representation of the meaning. It would form a yantra or mandala.

Julia: Can you describe a yantra?

Corrine: Yantras are geometric drawings that make visible the patterns of sound energy in a mantra. They are the pictorial, geometric representations of the energies of mantras. Each yantra has its own visible power pattern, and when combined with mantra, it builds form. Eventually, one transcends the yantra-mantra and perceives the energy behind it.

"Yan" refers to conceptualizing, so the yantra is a mental and somewhat physical representation of energy.

Julia: I understand that there are several different parts of mantras. Can you tell us about this?

Corrine: Yes, a mantra has six parts. The first is Rishi, the person to whom it was revealed and who gave the mantra to the world.

The mantra also has a meter, or Chhandas. This is the inflection or the tone of the voice, and it comes naturally as the mantra is repeated over and over. The voice finds it tone.

The Devata, or supernatural being, gives its power of informing or identifying energy.

The Bija is the seed. This is the important word or series of words that conveys a special power to the mantra.

The Sakti is the vibratory energy pattern.

Finally, there is the Kilaka, or pin. When the pin is taken from the mantra, the hidden energy or secret to consciousness is revealed.*

Julia: How do mantras affect the mind?

Corrine: Mantras quieten the mind. All the thoughts that we repeat in our mind have vibrations, even though we are not hearing them out loud. Thoughts have an effect, and this effect is not necessarily always positive, but when we repeat a mantra, it teaches the mind to calm down and let go. You go beyond the mind and into silence.

When the mind wanders, the mantra brings it back. And as the mantra teaches the mind to distance itself from distraction, the distractions become smaller and less frequent. First, one thought dissolves, then another. And you learn to hold that consciousness. When you learn to hold the consciousness, you begin to remember who you truly are.

A mantra is like a new, more powerful antenna on your television. By using the mantra, you are tuning to a channel you could not access before.

Julia: What are some of the changes in consciousness that mantra meditation can bring about?

Corrine: A major change is that we focus on the inner self. We learn to forget about the outer self and just be. An analogy is to think of the waves in a great ocean. When there is a storm, the waves are huge. The ocean forgets that it is an ocean. It thinks it is the huge, angry, dramatic waves. When the storm is over, the ocean is calm. It is beautiful and smooth. Then the ocean feels its wholeness. All of its parts feel at one. This is what meditation with mantras does to our consciousness. We think we are the waves of fear or anger or jealousy that assault our minds. When we can quiet the mind, we become like the ocean experiencing the beauty and serenity of itself. We become our souls. Then we are the ocean.

Julia: How do the sounds in a mantra impact our physical world?

Corrine: I can give you an example. There are groups of people who go all over the world and chant. I went with a group of six thousand people to Washington, DC, and we meditated eight hours a day for two months. The crime rate was decreased by 35 percent. There are many groups who do this in many places. You don't hear about them, but their work profoundly affects our world.

Julia: I have read that mantras can be used for many things — to create wealth, to mitigate karma, to heal the physical body. Is this true?

Corrine: There are many mantras that may be used for many things. Intention, or thinking of what you want while meditating, is really the key. Your intention will bring you to what you want.

Divine words are encased within the sound of the mantra. The names of the deities can be used to bring about a manifestation of the energies associated with that deity. This creates a sound form that holds the God energies as the mantra is repeated. The power comes through sounds contained in the mantra.

Some mantras come from the names of the specific deities. These include Lord Shiva and his wife, Shakti. He represents potential, and she represents creativity. The goddess Lakshmi is for abundance or money.

The names of deities may be used in chants. A chant for peace and love using Lord Shiva's name is "Om Namah Shivaya." Any of the other deities' names could be substituted.

Julia: Can you tell me about mantras for the chakras?

Corrine: I made a chakra chant CD, and this is probably the most popular of my CDs. When you listen to it or chant for a few minutes you will feel the difference.

There are different seed mantras for each chakra. The seed mantras balance the energy of the chakras. One way of viewing this is to think of a room of clocks. When a room is full of clocks, the clocks automatically synchronize themselves and tick together. This is what the seed mantras do for the chakras.

Julia: What are the seed mantras for the chakras and how do they work?

Corrine: All of these mantras work for different outcomes, if that's how you want to focus. There are different energies for each chakra, and you can focus on the particular energy you want in your life. You can concentrate on any of these seed mantras, but the Heart is the one you should work on if you have only a little time. The Heart acts as the balance for the entire body and system. Really, everything comes from the Heart. The Heart connects all of the chakras.

It takes a minimum of five minutes of chanting per chakra to bring it into balance. Here are mantras for each of them:

Root chakra: Red, Center of Physical Vitality, Stability — LAM.

Seat of the soul: Orange Personal Energy & Sex — VAM.

Solar plexus: Yellow, Personal Power — RAM.

Heart: Green, Love, Compassion — YUM.

Throat: Blue, Creative Consciousness — HUM.

Third Eye: Violet, Intuition — OM.

Crown: White, Reception of God's Energy — AUM.

Julia: Do you feel that difficult situations in our lives can be healed or mitigated through chanting? And if so, how does this happen?

Corrine: Absolutely. Situations are difficult because we react when someone pushes into an old wound. We begin to play tapes or think thoughts or see pictures that bring up and intensify the hurt. Meditation with mantra is like cleaning the computer screen of these picture and words.

What we don't understand is that our minds are like the computer. They can be filled up with all kinds of garbage, but just because it's on the screen doesn't mean that it is real. You can always erase what's there or "put in a new hard drive." When you clean the screen, there is room for the true self. You can hold a picture of happiness and erase the picture of sadness.

Breathing out the pain and breathing in Love is another very effective technique for dealing with difficult situations.

Julia: What mantras do you recommend for someone who wants to begin chanting?

Corrine: AUM. Because that's like White Light. It contains all of the colors in the spectrum, all of the chakras. Everything is in AUM. It's considered the most powerful chant of all.

Also, you might try YUM, the seed mantra for the heart chakra.

Julia: How many times should a mantra be repeated or for how long?

Corrine: The mantras should be chanted for fifteen minutes twice each day. We repeat mantras during the day because it is like dyeing a cloth. You dip the cloth in bright yellow dye, but after you wash it a few times, it gets pale. So you dip it back in the dye, and now it's brightly colored again.

This is like our consciousness. We meditate for a while, and our consciousness becomes clear. The thoughts cease. But then seven or eight hours later, the clarity of consciousness has faded and the thoughts have begun to reassert themselves.

Julia: Are you speaking of chanting out loud, or silently?

Corrine: Both. The sounds set up a vibration when spoken aloud, but they also set up the vibration in the mind when spoken silently. The mind is restless, so it is useful to repeat the mantra verbally or in a whisper. But whether it's verbal or whispered or silent, the mantra should be spoken with feeling.

Julia: Do you visualize the yantras while you meditate?

Corrine: No. Some people do, but I don't. I just focus on the words. I'm not very visual. However, when I was taking yoga for twelve hours a day, I did see the yantras before I slept and when I was dreaming.

I don't necessarily recommend trying to see yantras or colors when chanting. This is something that should come naturally or not at all. The mantras still work. On the other hand, the symbols or yantras are something that we all know in our superconscious and have forgotten. If they come up by themselves in meditation, then we should focus on them.

Julia: Is there a particular time that is best to recite mantras?

Corrine: It is best to recite mantras in the morning and before the sun goes down.

Also, when one comes home from work is a very good time to meditate. This is taking in divine energy, and it provides a rest for the body. It's like starting all over again. You will feel rested and energized throughout the evening. Many people tell me that they meditate right before they go to sleep, but this brings energy in and can lead to insomnia.

Julia: How long does it take to see a substantial change from practicing mantra yoga?

Corrine: No one can predict how long that will take — it can be short or long or even instantaneous.

For some people, it can take a long time. They must totally focus and study for a long period of time while remaining faithful to the practice. For others, it can happen very rapidly. It depends on the person and also on karma. Ultimately, the Vedas teach that it is God's grace that enlightens us. Nothing takes us to God but grace itself.

Julia: If you wanted to immerse yourself in knowledge about mantras or really learn about it, what would be the best way to start? Are there books you would recommend?

Corrine: I would say start with a qualified yoga teacher, because they use effective methods for introducing mantras and symbols. You can read books or listen to CDs of chants, but the progression will be more rapid with a teacher.

Julia: Is there anything else you want to say about mantras?

Corrine: There is bliss in every moment. Chants and mantras are a method of accessing it. When we can transcend our emotions and our own life, we become present. When we are present and have our full attention in the moment, then we feel only Love.

YANTRA (A Mystical Symbolic Language)

A Yantra is the actual visual formation and concretization of the mantra (sound vibration)
through a two-dimensional or three-dimensional representation. For example, we know that as
sound travels through various mediums like, air, water, or solid matter it causes a distortion of the
sound waves and makes an impression on the object of penetration. The result of this distortion is
the creation of a distinct visual pattern that can readily been seen and repeatedly duplicated.

In fact, all sound waves have exact ‘signatures,’ or wave patterns that are similar to our own
genetic structures (DNA/RNA) or the mark of a human finger-print. In addition, these patterns are
represented in the hexagrams in the I-Ching and other divination tools. The intricate patterns that
are formed, through manifesting sound vibrations, can be measured, drawn, or reconstructed into
their two-dimensional or three-dimensional spatial relationships through what is called a Yantra.
The ability to represent sound waves in two-dimensional or third-dimensional space can be
displayed through the mediums of art, music, or therapeutic touch. The result of such a process is
the act of being able to actually capture the ‘soul’ or essence of the mantra/hekau. www.dhyansanjivani.org

Practical uses of yantras for daily life

According to our shastras Yantra is a science which can be used through the five elements-earth, water, fire, sky and air and by recitation of mantras to control nature in one's own interest. Deities are worshiped in different forms and each form is linked to a yantra. Yantra uses signs and writings to remove a planet's malice effects and increase it's beneficial aspects. A bindu or zero is used to form various broad figures known as 'Yantras'.

A yantra can be drawn by anybody but it is fruitful only when energised by a 'sidh mantra'. It is drawn and energised on a piece of silver, copper, etc which is worn by the person. YANTRA PROBLEM

Yantra problem help!...thanks in advance

Greetings!. I was given a Yantra for a gift from a friend who visited India. They said the Yantra was probably not blessed/puja. I found some information that explained how to perform your own little puja for the Yantra. I put it by my picture. The picture faces southeast I'm not sure it that is good for this planetary yantra. I did this before I found out that its supposed to be blessed/puja by qualified people who go through a whole ceremony to energize yantras. I do not have a place nearby to go get it pujed. I am afraid to use it now.. I read that the effects can be adverse or lacking if not energized properly. Do I dispose of it, if so how?. I read that one should put it in a yellow cloth and let it out to the sea?. Should I still keep it...if so how can I know if any true effect or improvement has taken place. Since I've had it nothing spectacular has happened in 6 months..maybe because it was not officially puja. What do I do with this Yantra at this point?.Thanksgola.

Maha Sudarshan Yantra

This Yantra is the Prime Protective Yantra alongside the Mahakali Yantra. The Sudarshan refers to the discus of Vishnu, weapon to repel and punish evil and it is constructed from the pure flame of the sun. It is a dynamic Yantra in that the construction represents a whirling wheel of sacred flame that keeps all negativity, illness, misfortune and so on at bay. Within the body of the Yantra are inscribed sacred bija mantras or seed syllables that have proven their efficacy as protective talismans. When worshipping this Yantra, the devotee visualizes herself being in the centre of this sacred circle of sun-fire, secure and protected from all harm and ill that might befall him/her.

The Vedas inform us of the Sudarshan Cakra, a manifestation of the Lord's spiritual potency which acts in different capacities according to the Lord's desire. Generally the Sudarshan Cakra appears as a weapon like a discus with a razor sharp edge that may also exhibit intolerable heat. In his prayers to the Sudarshan Cakra, Ambarisa Maharaja said, "O master of speech, by your effulgence, full of religious principles, the darkne the Sudarshan Cakra is to chastise the demons, but another is to uplift the consciousness of the living beings.

ss of the world is dissipated, and the knowledge of learned persons or great souls is manifested. Indeed, no one can surpass your effulgence, for all things, manifested and unmanifested, gross and subtle, superior and inferior, are but various forms of you that are manifested by your effulgence." YANTRA KING

Shri Shri Mrityunjaya Para

Mrityunjaya is Shiva as Conqueror of Death and his yantra, which can be displayed in full detail by clicking here, shows him with his Shakti surrounded by his attendants. The weapons he holds in his hands are on the inside of the bhupura together with the names of eight of the Dikpalas (Guardians of the Directions). On the eight petals of the lotus are the eight Bhairavas, also mentioned in the Patala section of the Mahamrityunjaya Panchanga (below).

His mantra is om jum sah, the letters of which are scattered around the petals of the yantra. At the end of the Patala are given the satkarma, or six magical acts. The tantras warn that unless a sincere seeker (mumuksha) is already siddha in a mantra and performs daily puja, these acts bring ruin to a sadhaka or sadhvini.

Mrityunjaya Patala
On Kailasa Peak, in a beautiful garden strewn with various radiant jewels and garlands; scattered with different sorts of trees and creepers, filled with various beautiful flowers; in a grotto-temple adorned with various pure gems; in front of which are Kinnaris, softly murmuring and conversing, is seated Bhagavan Umanatha, the refuge; served by Brahma, Indra and Vishnu, by Jupiter (Guru) and Venus (Shukra) and hosts of Brahmins, Rishis, Siddhas, Aughas and Gandharvas; wearing a crescent moon as diadem, holding sword and trident, one hand giving boons, the other dispelling fear, peaceful, holding spear and bow, axe, shield, noose, javelin, knife, sprinkling Moon Kalas, holding an iron rod, bearing a mace and damaru and a 100 spoked discus; the Deva with 18 arms, ornamented with all the elements, naked, with 3 large open eyes and 5 faces, thrilled with bliss, the Ishvara, both Cosmos and Lord of the Cosmos, victorious, triumphant, His being one with Gauri, adorned with jewels of the serpent-demons, the Mahadeva, the Maheshvara, Shambhu, in the bound-lotus position, the dear Refuge of all. Having seen His sweet face, Parvati bowed and rose, and with a pleasant voice Gauri spoke to Parameshvara.

Shri Devi said -- Lord God, who is Shiva Deva, the Supreme Maha Mrityunjaya (Conqueror of Death), Adinatha, Protector of the World, Lord of Initiation, Ishvara. You have spoken to Me previously Mahadeva, Lord of the Gunas, Supreme Form of the Absolute! Now I wish to hear the 5 limbs. I request You to speak to me Lord!

Shri Bhairava said -- Because of Your devotion I will declare the previously unknown manual (5 Limbs) of the Supreme Lord Maha Mrityunjaya to You, (consisting of) Patala, Ritual Succession, Armour, 1,000 Mantra Names, Hymn and Mantra-Limbs. A sadhaka who knows this should conceal it.

Now firstly I shall speak of the section, beloved by the Lord of Initiation. his highest secret of all secrets should be concealed by sincere aspirants (mumukshas),

Now I will speak of the unfolding of the Mantra O Mahadevi, giving the fruit of initiation, celestial, bestowing happiness, objects aimed for, success -- Om Jum Sah Ham Sah, Protect! Protect Me! Sah Am Sauh Jum- This mantra is the wish fulfilling gem of the beloved Lord of Initiation.

There is no mantra as powerful as this for giving siddhi, desired results, and destroying enemies. It should not be given to the foolish, to the undisciplined, to those not on the path, to the bad, or those fettered by the five kleshas. This alone is the very blissful thing destroying enemies. This mantra ls the powerful King of Mantras, giving the fruit of inituation, like the wish-fulfllllng tree. Unless one previously prepares this King of Mantra it does not grant success, therefore one should prepare the mantra using methods indicated by the Guru. Only those who obtain this method from the Guru's hand should do this preparation.

This powerful King of Mantras is greater than the Aeon Tree! One should prepare it 400,000 times, or half that, O Maheshvari. One should never perform this method less than 100,000 times. One should give a tenth of recitation, a tenth of homa, a tenth oblation, a tenth sprinkling, and a tenth feeding. All this the sadhaka should do if he wishes to prepare the mantra. O Ishvari, one should give dakshina to the Guru as necessary ·

Then, Mahadevi, one should recite (the mantra) which becomes the giver of all success. Unless one doess this, there is no success, and initiation fails.

Now, Parvati, I speak of the rules relating to the unfolding of the yantra of Devadeva, which is all- alluring, heavenly, and the cause of all complete curse-removal. The Shri Chakra has bindu, triangle, hexagon, circle, 8 lotus petals, 3 circles and earth-square. Parvati, now I speak of the magical practice (Layanga) of the King of Mantras. Whosoever hears this doctrine may obtain the fruit of initiation. O Shire, In the earthsquare are the 10 Dikpalas, with their weapons, such as Indra and so forth.

In the 3 circles are the 3 lines of Guru, the Celestial, Siddha Augha, and Mortal Augha.

Shive, in the 8 (petals) are Asitanga, Ruru, Chanda, Krodhesha, Unmatta Bhairava, Kapalesha, Bhushana and Samharesha. Sincere seekers and sadhakas should worship these in the 8 petal lotus.

One should worship Kalagnirudra, Netresha, Vishvanatha, Maheshvara, Sadyojata and Vamadeva in the six yonis. O Devi, in the triangle one should worship Kameshvara, Mahakala Deva, and Svacchanda Bhairava. Shive, in the bindu one should worship Mrityunjaya Deva with his own Shakti. He is the Lord of Amrita, Ishana, ruler of the Three Worlds, with three parts, the highest pure Kala, with a necklace of pearls over His limbs -- in this way the best sadhakas should worship.

One should offer variously, O Devi, using scent, unhusked rice, flowers, incense, flame, food, paan, with parasols and fly-whisks. This is the magical practice (Layanga), hidden in all tantras, giving all siddhi, which one should conceal carefully.

Mahadevi, the Seer of this mantra is Maha Chama Pada, the metre is Gayatri, and the aspect of divinity Maha Mrityunjaya Rudra (known as) Mahadeva, the Primordial God. Devi, the bija is Om. The Shakti is Jum. Paramashani, the lynchpin is Sah. O Ishvari, the binding of the directions is 25 "Phats". The application is the famous four vargas. One should use Om Jum Sauh with six long vowels to bow with. The best of sadhakas should start with the heart first. Using the root bija one should do three pranayamas. One should sip water for the three tattvas which are Atma, Vidya, and Shiva.

Parvati, now I declare the meditation image (dhyana) of the God of Gods. Whichsoever mantrin meditates thus becomes one with Shiva. One should meditate on Mrityunjaya as having three eyes which are Moon, Sun and Fire; smiling face; seated within 2 lotuses, Whose hands hold Mudra, Noose, Wine and Rosary; effulgent as the Moon; with 10 million Moon Kalas of nectar drenching His body; begemmed wlth radiant pearls and so forth; charming, bewildering the Universe, the Pashupati.

In the centre of Rudra's forehead one should meditate on the circle of the Moon. By meditating on this place one may accomplish what one desires, and obtains freedom from death. In this way one should meditate on the begemmed mantra which Is the supreme seed of all, to obtain what one desires. One should carefully conceal this meditation on Rudra's head.

Now I speak of eight practical applications, hard to obtain, giving supreme results. The mantrln who should do these comes to resemble Bhairava, (They are) Paralysing, Deluding, Killing, Attracting, Subduing, Producing Peace and Promoting Health. Now I speak of those actions which cause great happiness. All siddhi comes via these magical methods in the Kali Yuga.

Shive, on a Sunday, having bathed, and having done the daily rite, firstly having made a resolution as to the number of timas to recite the mantra, one should recite it many times. A tenth of this one should offer as sacrifice (homa), using clarified butter and lotus seeds, Then one may accomplish paralysis of speech and mouth, causing (even such a great Brahmin as) Vivashvata to fall from caste.

On a Monday one should worship Devesha and should recite (the mantra) numerous times. One should give sacrifice of a tenth part using ghee, corn, parched grain, and vegetable leaves. Making a forehead mark using the ash one is able to delude the world.

On a Tuesday, the sadhaka, after bathlng, should go to a cremation ground. There he should recite the mantra numberless times, doing sacrifice of a large quantity of ghee, lotuses, various sweet substances, fruit of the Bel Tree, Devi, then one may kill one's enemy.

On a Wednesday, having bathed, one should worship in front of the Shri Chakra, and should recite the mantra numerous times, by a tenth part of this giving sacrifice of ghee, three thorns, bilva leaf. Then one may attract women.

On a Thursday, having bathed, one should recite the vidya a very large number of times. One should give sacrifice of a tenth part of that, using ghee, lotus seeds, sandalwood, sprinkling water and pieces of dead flesh. One obtains what one desires, gains victory over enemies, becomes a hero, wealthy, and lords it over adversaries.

On a Friday, the Lord Hero, in the cremation ground, should recite the mantra numerous times. Before an image of the root Vidya one should do sacrifice of a tenth part, using ghee, frog flesh, snail flesh. Then, most certainly, one may uproot enemies.

On a Saturday, having bathed, one should do puja and should recite the vidya a number of timas. One should do sacrlfice using milk, water used for bathing the dead, wood of the vata tree, sunflowers, flesh of a tiger with dhattura flowers. Then one may accomplish pacifying,

Always, on any day, one should recite the mantra numerous times, using mutton, tortoise flesh, boar flesh, and various fruits and flowers. Then disease is removed from home, father and devatas. Having done sacrifice of a tenth part one promotes great health.

Thus the Inner Essence (mahatattva) of the mantra has been declared, One should carefully hide it from the undevoted as if It were Your own yoni.

Hatha Yoga

The term Hatha Yoga has been commonly used to describe the practice of asana
(postures). The syllable 'ha' denotes the pranic (vital) force governing the
physical body and 'tha' denotes the chitta (mental) force thus making Hatha Yoga
a catalyst to an awakening of the two energies that govern our lives. More
correctly the techniques described in Hatha Yoga harmonise and purify the body
systems and focus the mind in preparation for more advanced chakra and kundalini
practices.

The Hatha Yoga system includes

asana along with the
six
shatkarmas (physical and mental detox techniques), mudras and

bandhas (psycho-physiological energy release techniques) and

Pranayama (pranic awakening practices). Fine tuning of the human personality
at increasingly subtle levels leads to higher states of awareness and
meditation.

Yogasana (Yoga Positions)

Six shatkarmas (physical and mental detox techniques)

Mudras and Bandhas (psycho-physiological energy release techniques)

Effects of Mantra, How to Practice & Rules of Mantra Chanting)

Mantra Yoga -

Mantra Yoga has its origin in Vedic Sciences and also in Tantra, infact all the
verses in Vedas are called mantras, it is said that any person who can chant or
sing Vedas can achieve the ultimate salvation or union with supreme
consciousness only by chanting the mantras, which is the aim Mantra Yoga

Bhakti Yoga

Bhakti is a Yoga of devotion or complete faith. This faith is generally in the
God or supreme consciousness in any of the forms. It may be Lord Rama, Krishna,
Christ, Mohammed, Buddha etc. It may be a Guru for his disciples.

Important thing is the person interested in following this path should have very
strong emotional bond with the object of faith. The flow of emotional energy is
directed to this object. Mostly people suppress their emotions and that often
reflects in the form of physical and mental disorders. This Bhakti Yoga releases
those suppressed emotions and brings the purification of inner self.

Continuous meditation of God or object of faith gradually decrease the ego of
the practitioner, which further prevents new distractions, fickleness or even
pain and induces strong bonds of love. Slowly the practitioner looses the self
identity and becomes one with the object of faith, this is a state of self
realization.

Karma Yoga

Karma Yoga is a path of devotion to the work. One looses his identity while
working, only selfless work remains. This state is very difficult to achieve.
Generally some rewards or incentives or outcome follows the work and one is
attached to this reward or incentive. This is not the Karma Yoga. Non-attachment
with the work and becoming the perfect instrument of the super consciousness in
this manifested universe is the ultimate aim of Karma Yoga.

In the initial stages of Karma Yoga, individual possesses strong sense of ego
and consciously or unconsciously he is attached to the fruits of his efforts or
at least praise or recognition but by continuous involvement in the work and
change in mental attitude, one can surely disassociate himself from the ego and
his own personality.

In this state the work becomes worship to the God, it becomes spiritual, also
the individual becomes expert, skilled and Yogi. He achieves stability of mind
in all conditions, he is not disturbed or excited or happy in any of the
situations. He becomes divine & his actions represent God's will.

The essence of Karma Yoga as extracted from 'Bhagvad Gita' says: The world
confined in its own activity except when actions are performed as worship of
God. Therefore one must perform every action sacramentally and be free of your
attachments to the results.

Jnana Yoga

Jnana Yoga is the process of converting intellectual knowledge into
practical wisdom. It is a discovery of human dharma in relation to nature and
the universe. Jnana Yoga is described by tradition as a means to obtain the
highest meditative state and inner knowledge.

Jnana literally means 'knowledge', but in the context of yoga it means the
process of meditative awareness which leads to illuminative wisdom. It is not a
method by which we try to find rational answers to eternal questions, rather it
is a part of meditation leading to self-enquiry and self-realisation.

Some of the
components of Jnana Yoga are:

  1. Not believing
    but realising

  2. Self-awareness
    leading to self-analysis

  3. Experiencing
    knowledge

  4. Realising the
    personal nature

  5. Developing
    intuitive wisdom

  6. Experiencing
    inner unity

Kundalini Yoga (From the Tantras)

Location Of The ChakrasThis
system of Yoga is concerned with awakening of the psychic centers or chakras,
which exists in every individual. (Please refer to the figure) There are six
main chakras in the human beings.

The mind is made up of different subtle layers. Each of these layers
progressively are associated with the higher levels of consciousness. Each of
these levels are related to the different chakra or psychic center located
throughout the psychic body. There are no of other chakras apart from the six
main, which are associated with planes below the human level. In all we have
chakras that connect us to animal levels of mind, to the instinctive realms of
being or to the sublime heights of consciousness.

In Kundalini Yoga, higher-level chakras are awakened and also the activities
associated with these higher psychic centers.

The basic method of awakening involves deep concentration on these chakras and
forcing their arousal. Asanas, pranayama, mudra and bandha and other forms of
Yoga such as Mantra Yoga are also used to stimulate the awakening.

Kriya Yoga

The word kriya means 'activity' or 'movement' and refers to the activity or
movement of consciousness. Kriya also refers to a type of practical or
preliminary practice leading to total union, the final result of practice. Kriya
Yoga does not curb mental fluctuations but purposely creates activity and
awakening in consciousness. In this way all faculties are harmonised and flower
into their fullest potential.

Kriya Yoga originated in antiquity and evolved over time through practise and
experience. The full form of Kriya Yoga consists of over 70 kriyas out of which
only 20 or so are commonly known.

The kriya practices are inscribed in numerous tantric texts written in Sanskrit.
To date only a few of these have been translated into other languages. The most
authoritative magna opus on the subject of Kriya.

The practices of Kriya Yoga were propagated by Swami Satyananda Saraswati from
secret teachings described in the Yoga and Tantra Shastras. The kriyas, as
taught by Satyananda Yoga™, are one of only two systems of Kriya Yoga recognized
the world over, the other being that of Paramahamsa Yogananda.

Raja Yoga

Raja Yoga usually refers to the system of yoga that is described in the Yoga
Sutras of Sage Patanjali. In this ancient text Sage Patanjali describes eight
stages of yoga which are known collectively as Raja Yoga.

Raja Yoga is a comprehensive yoga system which deals with the refinement of
human behaviour and personality through the practice of the yamas (restraint)
and niyamas (disciplines); attainment of physical health and vitality through
asanas (postures) and pranayamas (pranic breathing techniques); management of
mental and emotional conflicts and development of awareness and concentration
through pratyahara (sensory withdrawal) and dharana (concentration); and
developing the creative aspect of consciousness for transcendental awareness
through dhyana (meditation) and samadhi (absorption in the universal identity).

Swara Yoga

Swara is Sanskrit word, meaning sound or note. It is also a continuous flow of
air through one nostril. Yoga means union, so Swara yoga is a science which is
realization of cosmic consciousness through control and manipulation of breath.

Swara Yoga is
science which is a complete study, observations, control and manipulation of
breath or Swara. Pranayama is only related to control of breath in various ways.
In swara yoga, you will find association of breath in relation to activities of
sun, moon, various seasons, physical and mental conditions of individuals etc.
So Swara Yoga is more comprehensive in theory and practices related to breath.

Hypertension and yoga Power Effect

Introduction -

In normal course of blood circulation, the heart received impure blood in its right atrium and sends it to the right ventricle which further sends it to the lungs for purification. The purified blood from the lungs is sent back to the left atrium of the heart which passes it to the left ventricle. Then the blood is distributed to various body organs. Every bit of this blood transport step requires stipulated amount of pressure to carry the blood further. This is called blood pressure.

Due to certain physiological disorders of the lumen of the arteries constrict, their volume also reduces. This creates increased pressure inside the arteries which is then referred to as “Hypertension”. Normally the blood pressure during systole (when the left ventricle contracts) should be not more than 120 to 130 mm / Hg. During Diastole (when the left ventricle relaxes) the pressure should be about 80 to 85 mm / Hg. When these values remain elevated for a considerable amount of time, the person is said to be “Hypertensive”. High B.P. may have an hormonal cause among other causes leading to disruption of renin – angiotensin – aldosterone actions, high B.P. may also be as a result of renal disorders. The so called essential hypertension does not show definite correlation to any factor as yet.

Hypertension places patients at high risk for target organ damage including, retina, brain, heart, kidneys etc.

Observed Effects of Yoga on Blood Pressure

1. Regular practice of Yoga reduces blood pressure to the tune of 10 to 15 mm / Hg (observed facts, good evidence exists to support this observation)
2. Yoga can reduce weight loss which in turn reduces blood pressure.
3. Regular Yoga performers are less likely to suffer from Hypertension than their age & sex matched counterparts. This result has been studied and proven at our center.
4. The night ‘dip’ of blood pressure a phenomenon seen in normal people and which can be absent in some hypertensive is usually restored as observed at our center.
5. A casual Shavasana and Omkar chanting each can reduce the B.P. by about 10 – 15 mm / Hg even in an untrained person who may not practice Yoga regularly.

Probable mechanism achieved by practicing yoga which relieves Hypertension could be as follows.
1. Blood pressure increases by sustained activation of ‘Flight & Fight’ response of the body. Yoga effectively switches off the response and brings adrenaline levels down, thus reducing blood pressure. This postulate can be backed by good amounts of evidences.
2. The chronic stress induced sustained muscular contraction reduces lumen diameter of blood vessels in the muscles. It in turn increases blood pressure (just as compressing a water pipe increases force of water flow). Stretching of muscles and relaxing the same as done in Yogic exercise reverts this effect.
3. Sustained muscular contraction sends hostile signals to the brain, alerting it to impending danger. This does secrete stress hormones and neurotransmitters associated with stress and high B.P. This possibly reverted by constant practice of Yoga.
4. Platelet agreeability and stickiness of blood increases inappropriately, tend to produce a ‘hypercoagulable’ state of blood, and increase blood pressure in turn. It is proven during preliminary studies, that regular practice of Yoga reduces Platelet aggregation.
5. Certain postures in Yoga do offer controlled pressure on kidneys and the adrenals thereby possibly regulating blood supply to these vital organs which mainly regulate B.P. through secretions of rennin, angiotensin, adrenalin etc.
6. Regular Yoga may reduce stress hormone ‘aldosterone’ which is a potent vasoconstrictor (which contracts blood vessels thus increasing B.P.). Preliminary evidences have noted this fact.
7. Preliminary studies also point out to the fact that regular Yoga practice may reduce ‘Vasopressin’ another stress hormone secreted by pituitary gland in the brain. Vasopressin increases B.P. by vascular contraction.
8. The medulla oblongata in the brain has the respiratory center and the vasomotor centre (which regulates the B.P.) side to side. Fast breathing in stressful situations tends to overspill the electric signals over vasomotor centre thus increasing B.P. Yoga and Pranayama in turn regulate breathing and hence may reduce the signal overspill from respiratory center, thus reducing B.P.

Yantra Science Power

Matsya Vastu Copper Power Yantra

Vastu Shastra is the Indian science of architecture and proper placement (the original feng shui). Ancient sages and rishis created Vastu Shastra for our welfare, enabling us to benefit from this knowledge to gain mental peace, health, wealth, and make our life happy.
This science sets the rules of construction and shows that proper construction and placement can promote prosperity, peace and good health.

Since we cannot always have a vastu expert build our house or office space, we can place this Matsya Vastu Copper Plate Power Yantra to counteract vastu faults. Precisely engraved in copper for puja use with Sanskrit mantras, it clears vastu problems, like a fish cleans a pond, for both business and house to bring prosperity and wealth.

Place this yantra in the northeast corner of your house and office.

Invocation mantras for this yantra: Om Aim Khreem Shreem Matsyaya Somakasura Bhanjunaya Vishnave Animadyasta Vibhuti Dehi Dehi Swaha.

Gayatri Mantra for this yantra: Tat Purusaya Vidmahe Mahaminaya Dhimahi Tanno Vishnuh Prachodayat: I salute the divine Vishnu who incarnates as a great fish and who purifies the cosmos for perfect balance and harmony.

This yantra can also be used as the base for the water conch and for abhishek (bathing) of the conch, if it is part of your spiritual practices.

The Indian Science of Aeronautics

Over hundred years ago. In 1895, full eight years before the Wright Brothers` first flight at Kitty hawk, North Carolina, USA, Shivkar Bapuji Talpade and his wife gave a thrilling demonstration flight on the Chowpatty beach in Mumbai………The purpose of this article is to let the world know that the first plane in the modern era was made in India.
------

“The ancient Hindus could navigate the air, and not only navigate it but fight battles in it like so many war-eagles, combating for the domination of the clouds. To be so perfect in aeronautics they must have known all the arts and sciences relating to the science, including the strata and currents of the atmosphere, the relative temperature, humidity, density and specific gravity of the various gases....." - Col. Olcott in a lecture in Allahabad in 1881.

The Rig Veda, the oldest document of the human race includes references to the following modes of transportation: Jalayan - a vehicle designed to operate in air and water (Rig Veda 6.58.3); Kaara- Kaara- Kaara- a vehicle that operates on ground and in water. (Rig Veda 9.14.1); Tritala- Tritala- Tritala- a vehicle consisting of three stories. (Rig Veda 3.14.1); Trichakra Ratha - Trichakra Ratha - Trichakra Ratha - a three-wheeled vehicle designed to operate in the air. (Rig Veda 4.36.1); Vaayu Ratha- Vaayu Ratha- Vaayu Ratha- a gas or wind-powered chariot. (Rig Veda 5.41.6); Vidyut Ratha- Vidyut Ratha- Vidyut Ratha- a vehicle that operates on power. (Rig Veda 3.14.1).

Ancient Sanskrit literature is full of descriptions of flying machines - Vimanas. From the many documents found it is evident that the scientist-sages Agastya and Bharadwaja had developed the lore of aircraft construction.

The "Agastya Samhita" gives us Agastya`s descriptions of two types of aeroplanes. The first is a "chchatra" (umbrella or balloon) to be filled with hydrogen. The process of extracting hydrogen from water is described in elaborate detail and the use of electricity in achieving this is clearly stated. This was stated to be a primitive type of plane, useful only for escaping from a fort when the enemy had set fire to the jungle all around. Hence the name "Agniyana". The second type of aircraft mentioned is somewhat on the lines of the parachute. It could be opened and shut by operating chords. This aircraft has been described as "vimanadvigunam" i.e. of a lower order than the regular aeroplane.

Aeronautics or Vaimaanika Shastra is a part of Yantra Sarvasva of Bharadwaja. This is also known as Brihadvimaana Shastra. Vaimaanikashastra deals about aeronautics, including the design of aircraft, the way they can be used for transportation and other applications, in detail. The knowledge of aeronautics is described in Sanskrit in 100 sections, eight chapters, 500 principles and 3000 slokas. Great sage Bharadwaja explained the construction of aircraft and way to fly it in air, on land, on water and use the same aircraft like a sub-marine. He also described the construction of war planes and fighter aircraft.

Vaimaanika Shastra explains the metals and alloys and other required material, which can be make an aircraft imperishable in any condition. Planes which will not break (abhedya), or catch fire (adaahya) and which cannot be cut (achchedya) have been described. Along with the treatise there are diagrams of three types of aeroplanes - "Sundara", "Shukana" and "Rukma".

The aircraft is classified into three types- Mantrika, Tantrika and Kritaka, to suit different yugas or eras. In kritayuga, it is said, Dharma was well established. The people of that time had the devinity to reach any place using their Ashtasiddhis. The aircraft used in Tretayuga are called Mantrikavimana, flown by the power of hymns (mantras). Twenty-five varieties of aircraft including Pushpaka Vimana belong to this era. The aircraft used in Dwaparayuga were called Tantrikavimana, flown by the power of tantras. Fiftysix varieties of aircraft including Bhairava and Nandaka belong to this era. The aircraft used in Kaliyuga, the on-going yuga, are called Kritakavimana, flown by the power of engines. Twenty-five varieties of aircraft including "Sundara", "Shukana" and "Rukma" belong to this era.

Bharadwaja states that there are thirty-two secrets of the science of aeronautics. Of these some are astonishing and some indicate an advance even beyond our own times. For instance the secret of "para shabda graaha", i.e. a cabin for listening to conversation in another plane, has been explained by elaborately describing an electrically worked sound-receiver that did the trick. Manufacture of different types of instruments and putting them together to form an aircraft are also described.

It appears that aerial warfare was also not unknown, for the treatise gives the technique of "shatru vimana kampana kriya" and "shatru vimana nashana kriya" i.e. shaking and destroying enemy aircraft, as well as photographing enemy planes, rendering their occupants unconscious and making one`s own plane invisible.

In Vastraadhikarana, the chapter describing the dress and other wear required while flying, talks in detail about the wear for both the pilot and the passenger separately.

Ahaaraadhikarana is yet another section exclusively dealing with the food habits of a pilot. This has a variety of guidelines for pilots to keep their health through strict diet.

Bhardwaja also provides a bibliography. He had consulted six treatises by six different authors previous to him and he gives their names and the names of their works in the following order : Vimana Chandrika by Narayanamuni; Vyoma Yana Mantrah by Shaunaka; Yantra Kalpa by Garga; Yana Bindu by Vachaspati; Kheta Yaana Pradeepika by Chaakraayani; Vyoma Yaanarka Prakasha by Dundi Natha.

As before Bharadwaja, after him too there have been Sanskrit writers on aeronautics and there were four commentaries on his work. The names of the commentators are Bodh Deva, Lalla, Narayana Shankha and Vishwambhara.

Evidence of existence of aircrafts are also found in the Arthasastra of Kautilya (c. 3rd century B.C.). Kautilya mentions amongst various tradesmen and technocrats the Saubhikas as `pilots conducting vehicles in the sky`. Saubha was the name of the aerial flying city of King Harishchandra and the form `Saubika` means `one who flies or knows the art of flying an aerial city`. Kautilya uses another significant word `Akasa Yodhinah`, which has been translated as `persons who are trained to fight from the sky.` The existence of aerial chariots, in whatever form it might be, was so well-known that it found a place among the royal edicts of the Emperor Asoka which were executed during his reign from 256 B.C. - 237 B. C.

It is interesting to note that the Academy of Sanskrit Research in Melkote, near Mandya, had been commissioned by the Aeronautical Research Development Board, New Delhi, to take up a one-year study, ‘Non-conventional approach to Aeronautics’, on the basis of Vaimanika Shastra. As a result of the research, a glass-like material which cannot be detected by radar has been developed by Prof Dongre, a research scholar of Benaras Hindu University. A plane coated with this unique material cannot be detected using radar. (Did You Know this? http://www.indpride.com/didyouknow.html)

But perhaps the most interesting thing, about the Indian science of aeronautics and Bharadwaja`s research in the field was that they were successfully tested in actual practice by an Indian over hundred years ago. In 1895, full eight years before the Wright Brothers` first flight at Kitty hawk, North Carolina, USA, Shivkar Bapuji Talpade and his wife gave a thrilling demonstration flight on the Chowpatty beach in Mumbai.

An even more astonishing feature of Talpade’s aircraft was the power source he used- An Ion Engine. The theory of the Ion Engine has been credited to Robert Goddard, long recognized as the father of Liquid-fuel Rocketry. It is claimed that in 1906, long before Goddard launched his first modern rocket, his imagination had conceived the idea of an Ion rocket. But the fact is that not only had the idea of an Ion Engine been conceived long before Dr Goddard, it had also been materialized in the form of Talpade’s aircraft.

Mr. Talpade, a resident of Mumbai, was an erudite scholar of Sanskrit literature, especially of the Vedas, an inventor and a teacher in the School of Arts. His deep study of the Vedas led him to construct an aeroplane in conformity with descriptions of aircraft available in the Vedas and he displayed it in an exhibition arranged by the Bombay Art Society in the Town Hall. Its proving the star attraction of the exhibition encouraged its maker to go deeper into the matter and see if the plane could be flown with the aid of mercurial pressure. For the one hundred and ninetieth "richa" (verse) of the Rig Veda and the aeronautical treatise of Bharadwaja mention that flying machines came into full operation when the power of the sun`s rays, mercury and another chemical called "Naksha rassa" were blended together. This energy was, it seems, stored in something like an accumulator or storage batteries. The Vedas refer to eight different engines in the plane and Bharadwaja adds that they are worked by electricity.

Mr. Talpade carried on his research along these lines and constructed an aeroplane. In his experiments he was aided by his wife, also a deep scholar of the Vedic lore, and an architect friend. The plane combined the constructional characteristics of both "Pushpaka" and "Marut Sakha", the sixth and eighth types of aircraft described by Bharadwaja. It was named "Marut Sakha" meaning "Friend of the Wind".

With this plane this pioneer airman of modern India gave a demonstration flight on the Chowpatty Beach in Mumbai in the year 1895. The machine attained a height of about 1500 feet and then automatically landed safely. The flight was witnessed, among many others, by Sir Sayajirao Gaekwad, the Maharaja of Baroda and Justice Govind Ranade and was reported in “The Kesari” a leading Marathi daily newspaper. They were impressed by the feat and rewarded the talented inventor.

Unfortunately Talpade lost interest in things after his wife`s death, and after his own death in 1917 at the age of 53 his relatives sold the machine to Rally Brothers, a leading British exporting firm then operating in Mumbai. Thus the first ever attempt at flying in modern India, undertaken and made successful by an Indian, in a plane of Indian manufacture and built to Indian scientific specifications, slid into the limbo of oblivion.

When a Mantra is chanted according to the proper Tantra, the sound vibrations gather force from the Yantra and after reflecting from its surface spread out into the universe and reach the concerned God. These vibrations come into contact with the form of the God, gather divine powers and blessings from Him and return to the Sadhak (person chanting), thus instilling divinity into him and giving him power to achieve supernatural feats. Thus, to achieve totality of life three ingredients Mantra, Tantra and Yantra are essential because all three are supplements of each other. This is the Science.Vigyan means science in Hindi Language.
The aim of life is to keep rising high, to achieve great heights and to keep attaining success. But this is easier said than done. For achieving totality i.e. Dharma (righteousness), Artha (wealth), Kaam (pleasures) and Moksha (salvation) ; and for attaining fame, respect and success in one's field of work one needs Divine assistance, which can only be obtained with the help of Mantra-Tantra and Sadhanas.
Indian knowledge had proved the mettle of its superiority long back and even in the modern scientific times its significance remains unmitigated. This rich heritage, was for selfish interests, presented in a very ugly and distorted form before the society; so much so that the words like Mantra & Tantra bacame synonyms of fear for the common folk. Thus due to ignorance Tantra became a tabooed and much dreaded word in society and people became petrified just by hearing about it. The common man thinks that a Tantrik is a person who drinks liquor, smokes opium, abuses everyone, has large redshot eyes, one who can kill anyone and who always remains engaged in evil works.
Nothing is further from the truth. Such people are imposters, they are not Tantriks. Tantra actually means accomplishing Mantra Sadhana in a very systemised way. If there is a Mantra then the process of its use is Tantra. Tantra is the way to perform a Sadhana(meditation) in a proper and correct manner. The method or way to achieve totality in Sadhana is Tantra.
True knowledge knows no bounds and this is especially true about Indian knowledge of Sadhanas (meditation), Yoga & philosophy, which has been illuminating the path of world peace and brotherhood since ages. In fact, these principles make it more a system of life, than mere knowledge.
The ancient Indian sages and ascetics had achieved full perfection and harmony with the nature, and they could perform seemingly impossible feats. The Ramayan, Mahabharat and other Indian texts are full of such examples, but today the so-called "rational" mind dismisses them as mere myths and superstition.
Most of the true knowledge has been lost due to foreign onslaught over the past millennium. The common man goes to a temple or ashram, sings some hymns, touches the feet of some Swami who nods his head, charges huge fees as "Dakshina" and assures positive results. Then he merely recites mugged up verses and mantras without producing the desired results. Upon failure and having become thoroughly dejected, the common man dismisses all ancient Indian spiritual sciences as hoax and swindle.
There remains only one way to break the myths and uphold the sanctity of True knowledge in face of such pseudo-men of God and that is to enlighten the masses. And Reverent Gurudev Dr. Narayan Dutt Shrimaliji known to ascetics as Paramhans Swami Nikhileshwaranandji readily took up this challenge to rejuvenate the ancient Indian Sciences and Philosophy. His name, epitomising the rare and secret eruditions of ancient India, shines bright as the sun in the fields of Mantra, Tantra, Astrology, Karmkand (Indian Vedic rituals) and Ayurved. He is a great Indian Yogi and ascetic, sitting in whose feet one attains celestial peace and totality in life.
He spent many decades in the caves of Himalayas gathering the knowledges from the sages, monks and ascetics. He deeply studied all the Vedas, 108 Upanishads and other ancient texts apart from obtaining PhD from Jodhpur University.
Each moment of His life, has been dedicated to the rejuvenation of these ancient Indian sciences and Sadhanas, which had once raised India to the highest echelons in all spheres, in the world scene. He started his work from the grassroots level, inviting the common men & women and imparting them the knowledge of Mantras, Tantras and Sadhnas, to make their magic work for themselves. There are special Mantras to solve problems like marital problems, marriage of children, increasing debts, enemies, problems at work etc.
Sadhna is a perfect science and if performed correctly under the guidance of an able Guru always succeeds and bestows results. And once the new-initiates had the first taste of success, they would with added vigour try more Sadhnas and even introduce their friends and relatives to this unique Guru. It was a sort of chain reaction which went on for years till millions of Sadhaks had been initiated into the world of Sadhnas by this selfless Guru.
Working day and night for over forty years, Dr. Narayan Dutt Shrimaliji sacrificed even his personal moments to help people gain awareness through thousands of Sadhana meditation camps organised all over India & outside India in countries like UK, Italy, Spain, USA, Mauritius, Nepal and several others. He made the new Sadhaks realise that Mantras do have powers, that divine powers can be summoned to help one out and that one does not need priests to perform rituals on one's behalf i.e. one could learn from the Guru the correct way of chanting Mantras and succeed without any third person's help.
There were occasions when several people with scientific bent of mind came to argue with him but returned completely transformed. To all common folks he taught and practically demonstrated that through the means of Sadhnas one can gain a lot in life. Not only can problem related to health, wealth, property tensions, children, education, job, business be solved permanently, rather one can also make spiritual achievements just by devoting only a hour or two daily. He knew that modern man has little time to spare. Hence he introduced the aspirant to quick acting rituals. Many Sadhaks thus went on to gain superb powers like clairvoyance, telepathy, hypnotism etc. Those who tried with devotion and dedication achieved hundred percent success. Thousands had the glimpse of their favourite deity.
Those who still failed to get results were given special treatment. In fact at the very first look at the person, Dr. Shrimaliji would know whether he could succeed in Sadhana himself or would need divine help. To the latter He would give Shaktipaat Diksha i.e. he would transfer a small part of His own Divine Power into the person through physical and eye contact and awaken his/her own latent divinity. Millions have been able to transform their lives by vanquishing sorrows, tensions, poverty; and imbibing the enlightenment of spiritualism into themselves.
Sadhaks under his guidance have gone onto successfully combat the worst ordeals of life. Many were cured of incurable ailments, others freed of tension. Those desperately in need of wealth found new avenues opening for them. Many childless couples effectively used Mantras in his guidance and others obtained Dikshas from him, and thus had a child. Many are living on borrowed time, for he saved them from sure death in accidents.
Besides the knowledge of Sadhnas, Tantra, Mantra and Yantra, he resurrected Astrology to its past glory by making astoundingly precise forecasts in general and for individuals; and he authored no less than 120 books on this subject. He was an authority on Ayurveda and set up special farms to grow the almost extinct herbs. Many disciples mastered the science of Ayurveda under him.
Apart from Astrology, He authored more than 150 books on diverse subjects like Sadhnas, Kundalini Tantra, Palmistry, Paarad Vigyan (alchemy), Hypnotism, Meditation, Numerology, Ayurveda , Signature Analysis, Yoga and other subjects of the spiritual field. He has also released hundreds of audio and video cassettes to detail the exact procedures of performing worship and to record the authentic sound vibration and pronunciation of the Mantras. Many of his articles have been published in leading newspapers and magazines.
He accomplished significant spiritual and religious ceremonies at various religious places of pilgrimage in India and thus re-established the religious and historical significance of these places in the society. He presided over various Tantra and Mantra conferences and is recognized as the pillar stone of the field of the Tantra. He has been honoured with several titles of recognition in various fields. He was honoured with the title of "Maha Mahopadhyay" in 1982 by the then vice-president of India, Dr. B.D. Jatti. He was honoured with the title of "Samaj Shiromani" in 1989 by the then Vice-President of India, Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma. In 1991, he was honoured by the then Prime Minister of Nepal, Sh. Bhattarai for his unique and singular work in the social and religious fields.
He was nominated as the President of the World Astrology Conference from amongst representatives of various countries in 1979 and has been nominated as President of most of the All India Astrology Conferences organised since 1979. He was honoured with the title of "Tantra Shiromani" by the Para-psychological Council in 1987. He was honoured with the title of "Mantra Shiromani" by the Mantra Sansthan in 1988. He was the Founder and Patron of Dr. Narayan Dutt Shrimali Foundation International Charitable Trust for upliftment of society through establishment and running of hospitals, schools, temples etc.
To shatter all mis-apprehensions, myths, taboos and misconceptions about ancient Indian sciences and Philosophy, He started the prestigious Hindi monthly magazine - Mantra Tantra Yantra Vigyan in the year 1981. The publication of this magazine has been a milestone in the process of resurrection of the ancient Indian knowledges and has uprooted all baseless dogmas regarding Mantra & Tantra from the social sphere. Today, almost every leading newspaper and magazine has started showing interests in Mantra & Tantra, by publishing various articles on this subject. Slowly , the people are becoming aware and attracted to these knowledges, and all its credit goes to reverent Gurudev who has introduced common man to these eruditions by books and magazine. A full fledged English language version of the magazine "Mantra Tantra Yantra Vigyan" has been launched in March 2000 for universal appeal.
This monthly magazine reveals the knowledge & wisdom of ancient Indian sages and ascetics. It opens the gates of Sadhnas, Astrology, Ayurveda, Gold Alchemy, Solar Sciences, Numerology, Palmistry, Hypnotism, Mantras,Tantras and Yantras . By spreading True Knowledge, this magazine aims at removing the superstitions, fears and misbeliefs associated with the traditional Indian Occult Practices, and is a step towards spreading the correct and complete knowledge discovered by the ancient Indian Sages and Rishis. It is an attempt to resurrect and save all this ancient knowledge by compiling it in a systemic way to save it from decadence.
Along with the publication of the magazine, several Sadhana camps are organised every month in various places. And magazine readers participate in these camps to gain practical knowledge like Mantra pronunciation, techniques of worship, Yogic methods, learn intricacies of Sadhana etc. Sadhana camps give practical knowledge of such Mantras -- how to use them, how to attain divinity through them and how to achieve success through them.
After passing thousands of rigorous tests and performing extremely tough Sadhnas in Himalayas, Revered Gurudevs Nand Kishore Shrimaliji, Gurudev Kailash Chandra Shrimaliji and Gurudev Arvind Shrimaliji were elevated into the Gurupad in Cheitra Navratri, 1993 whence Reverent Gurudev Dr. Narayan Dutt Shrimaliji transferred His spiritual energy into Them. In June, 1998, Gurudev Dr. Narayan Dutt Shrimaliji announced that Gurudev Nand Kishore Shrimaliji, Gurudev Kailash Chandra Shrimaliji and Gurudev Arvind Shrimaliji will handle all His responsibilities from then on. Subsequently Revered Gurudev Nand Kishore Shrimaliji , Revered Gurudev Kailash Chandra Shrimaliji and Revered Gurudev Arvind Shrimaliji have been shouldering all the responsibilities and guiding the disciples after Third July, 1998, when Reverent Gurudev Dr. Narayan Dutt Shrimaliji left for Siddhashram. He is the chief controller of Siddhashram as Reverent Paramhans Swami Nikhileshwaranandji. This work is surely against the tides of the times and is truly amazing in itself. Dikshas and Sadhanas have blown in fragrant breezes in the lives of many despaired and frustrated men and women.
If you want to discuss any problem, or need spiritual or material guidance, or want to take Diksha, then you may meet the Revered Gurudevs in either Delhi Gurudham or Jodhpur Gurudham. You may also meet them in the Sadhna camps. The details of the Sadhna camps and the meeting dates in Delhi/Jodhpur Gurudham are detailed in the Mantra Tantra Yantra Magazine and are also available on this site here.
Ideally you should take Diksha from revered Gurudev in person. However, under exceptional circumstances (eg. if you aren't able to come to meet revered Gurudevs) you may take Diksha by photograph.
The International Siddhashram Sadhak Parivar is an institution set up by revered Gurudev whose aim is to reintroduce the common man to these lost and extinct sciences, propagate spiritual and Sadhana knowledge and take care of problems faced by new aspirants and old sadhaks in the field of Sadhanas and also in life in general. Its objective is to eradicate social evils and raise material and spiritual lives of people with the help of ancient Indian eruditions.
With this aim the institution brings out the "Mantra Tantra Yantra Vigyan" monthly magazine; organises Diksha (intiation into sadhanas) ceremonies and Sadhanas at its centres in Jodhpur and New Delhi; publishes books and literature both in Hindi and English (and other major languages) on subjects like Sadhanas, Astrology, Mantras, Kundalini and Meditation etc.; and organises Sadhana camps all over India and overseas.
